If we have one of the best QBs in the country (very important), and we have some of the best receivers in the country (been lacking that) --> is that enough?
Lost some great players, but so did all teams as this is college.
Most believe the "D" will be improved. Most believe the "O" will be improved. Coots and some fans here on Tnet slammed CLEMSON all last season. That was a good team, achieved. Coots and some fans who prefer living in depression will/are doing that again.
If every position seems to be improved this year coming off a good season, is that enough? If TIGERS are again in the hunt, is that enough? It is not enough for some here.

Tug, if we can stay healthy and limit mistakes, we can play with anyone. All in!

But I am most excited about the potential of our Oline. If they continue their improvement from last year under Luke, this offense could be very good. I’ll be watching how much we rely on designed runs for Cade.

I'm wondering about our running game. I expect the OL to be a strength, and with our receivers it will be difficult to stack the box on us.
Do one or two backs emerge as stars, or will it be by committee? If we can get 80-120 yards rushing each week, this offense could be lethal.

I am really excited to see if Allen and Boulware have really added the energy to the defense that it sounds like. Would love to see us be a shut down defense again.

I'm excited about it all except punting.... Granted, if our offense moves the ball like I think we will, it will be minor, but Swanson's drop off last year from two years ago is a huge head scratcher.
D will be improved and I'm excited to see the D lines toughness with our new DC. I liked Porkchop, but he was a scheme analyst, not a DC. I don't question his intelligence or knowledge about schemes, but I think it was clear he wasn't a DC.

I'm concerned about special teams. They have played a major role in 75% of our losses over the last decade and continue to be a weakness. The LSU game is HUGE. Not only for Clemson but for the ACC which hasn't beaten a top shelf SEC team in a long while.
