The House vs NCAA law suit settlement which is going to be settled by the revenue sharing deal for the power 4, you are going to be ignorant about the near future of college football. The vote by all of the power 4 conferences takes place by MAY 25, 2024. The revenue sharing plan adopted will go into effect starting in 2025 season. The reason the head honcho of the NCAA was at the ACC Spring meeting yesterday was to explain the proposal to be voted on. It has been reported that the ACC was not on board with the proposed settlement. If the settlement does not take place soon, and it ends up going to trial, instead of 1.4 billion dollars the NCAA PAYS with revenue sharing plan, they will end up paying 4.4 billion when they lose court case. The ACC has more private universities than any other conference and the revenue sharing plan is going to hit them hard financially. That is why the ACC was not fully behind the plan.

College football and realignment is moving fast so it's important to keep up.

I read everything I can find regarding all this mess. And it does not bode well for the future of college fb.

as in "college". It's merely a matter of whether or not people are willing to play along and pretend the guys in the uniforms still are playing for the love of the University.

You can already stick a fork in FBS college football. It is unabashedly pro football, played in your college colors, unregulated and therefore unfair.

Don't begrudge the players making money, they should. But if its going to be pro football even with the scholar athlete charade, there should be a draft and a salary cap.
