Flights to Phoenix

I had planned to take my family out West for the game. Already had my tickets and hotel arrangements made, but the cheapest flights I can find are $2,200 for the three of us plus driving 2.5 hours to the airport. Unfortunately, I will not be able to afford this to cheer on my Tigers in person. It's a crying shame that travel costs are keeping us from supporting them.

Go to vegas, jump on one of these charters from tigernet. Or rent a car and drive in yourself. Flights and hotels are cheap in vegas.

Hotels for NYE are not cheap. Had comped rooms last year off peak. Phoenix rooms are much cheaper.

Not sure that is correct. You can get comped rooms for every night other than NYE. So if you stay 2 or 3 days, it is cheaper over the duration in Vegas
I have all my nights comped for this trip.
My casino host said there were plenty of rooms avail

Wife and I flew for 300 a piece. The hotel was 84 I believe. I can't make it this year. If they make the championship in Tampa I will be there.

Fly into vegas like others have said and rent a car. It is not a bad drive at all. That's what we did last year for the natty.

I found round trip tickets to Vegas for about $350 (I ended up using miles, etc. so can't remember the exact cash price) and car rental was $150 total for 6 days.

Be sure to check Spirit, Frontier, South West, and Allegiant directly. I found flights on Spirit for a bit less....not much less.....but some.
