you (un)lucky people . I got 0 accumulation - watched about 2 hours or so of moderate snow melt as it hit the water standing an inch deep in my yard on Lake Greenwood.

Not when I was at Ft. Jackson in late '69, early '70. And was sleeping in a tent in the woods - several inches & we stayed out there to complete exercise.

was there from '72 to '75.worked in moncreif.first year there was a fairly significant storm.want to say around a foot or so,and i was returning from the dutch square area that night.the base was closed to all traffic.the guys at the gate house(forest acres) weren't supposed to let anyone in,but i explained to them that i had driven in snow almost all of my life,so they let me in.made it to my quarters ok.
