Yep the real FSU that still has a horrible OL and a quarterback that might not make the end of the game if our DL gets to him too much.

...NCSU on paper has a much better OL with mostly seniors as I recall. Disappointed we could not get the pressure on Finley.

Hard to get pressure on a two step drop and fire. It happened all night and there is no way to pressure that kind of throw. Blackmon and their offense isn't that proficient at the short passing game.

I saw a game earlier this year when both of these backs were playing. They are both dangerous.

FSU at Clemson without their starting QB should be at a disadvantage BUT, their starting QB went out the 1st game of the season. Their backup QB has started 10 games since then, IMO, he is now a starter, playing in the starter role. It wouldn't be much of a difference if we were saying that DW4 left before his last season was up, so we are playing Kelly Bryant, DW4's backup for this season!!! Just saying, plus FSU had 2 weeks off after their starter went down. Like Dabo says, next man up!!!

A big difference is, their OL is just really bad, and they run more of a conventional offense where BV's defensive calls are more effective. FSU's passing game NEEDS time to get the ball downfield, and we should be able to wear down their OL pretty quickly. Definitely have to stop their run game, so, you'll see a lot of Tre Lamar and Lamar Joseph putting the hurt on Akers.

Yeah...Jimbo should put him on the OL for Josh Ball considering the domestic violence allegations against him, but we know that's no big deal in Tallahassee.

Initial diagnosis was 4-6 months rehab and you want to come back and play full-go after 3 weeks against one of the meanest defenses in the nation?

Patrick reminds me a little of the Bama backs .... Big but needs to get a head of steam to be effective. As aggressive as out D-line is, I think we get him early and not let him get too many big runs. I have not been overly impressed with Akers.
