began, Hootie (not to be confused with Mr. Ingram--a loser in another profession) did at least one show comprised mostly of Sinatra standards....the good news was that Francis Albert was already deceased and didn't have to endure the slight on his legacy....the other good news was that this phase of Hootie's career was met with deafening silence and he changed avenues to a "Nashville" direction although how it qualifies as "country" escapes both me and Charlie Pride.
On the truly plus side, Hootie has raised a lot of money for school supplies and apparently is a good neighbor on Sullivan's Island

Might not be a popular opinion here but I love me some Darius Rucker. I realize his lyrics and instrumentals aren't of the best quality but I love his voice and his songs sure are catchy.
I'm proud that he's from my home state.
