When we beat them 10-0 in a run rule game where it looked like they didn’t belong on the same field as us.

I remember being at that one in McWhorter. Truly a mismatch that got embarrassing for the gamecocks.

SC new coach is going to be a big problem for Clemson especially recruiting in state talent. She is a former Gamecock, very good coach, & a much better recruiter than Rhittman. Going to be tough getting any in state talent against her.

coach who came from Charlotte. Their pitcher tonight is a sophomore transfer from Charleston Southern who 2 hit this team before she was pulled after 5 innings.

Who thought it was a good idea to pitch Basinger three games in five days?

She doesn't have enough velocity to leave a rise ball in the middle of the zone (not many do), not against an All American. That HR kinda set the tone for the whole game. Kept thinking we'd get the bats cranking, but nope. The Coots are definitely on a different level than the Fordhams and Syracuses of the world.

There are some head-scratching decisions by our coach; Cintron not getting much time on the mound and Johnson starting over Wilson come to mind. The UofSuCk has a good coach and a veteran team, plus she's a former Coot and knows the importance of winning this game. Unfortunately, they're a much better team than we've seen since we started.

We're a young team that still may have a chance at making the tournament.
