" ... especially behind a mediocre offensive line that doesn't consistently create a push." In one phrase the article says, "Everything I just said is probably completely false."

The article does have merit. The other Jax RBs are not getting stuffed at the LOS as bad as ET is.

I would think the inefficency of ETN could be tied to the Jaguars not having an elite offensive line. They even have trouble keeping Lawrence upright.

They should have never drafted ETN with that first round pick. They should have gone OL there.

They coukd have gone OL multiple times since then and haven't so that wasn't a one-off mistake.

Travis was always the fastest guy on the field when he was here at Clemson -

especially in his first 3 years.

In the NFL, I see him start to break one loose, but then he gets caught.

He's still very quick with excellent acceleration, but the top end speed is not there.

It's hard to believe that at 26, he may already be past his prime. Running Back is not an easy position to stay healthy with - especially if you're not built like a Derrick Henry.

Indeed. That's why they call it the Not For Long league

Two years ago he had more yards after contact and tackles broken than just about any other back in the league. Last year he was hurt and didn't seem himself so this is his chance to show last season was a fluke.

I've kinda felt for awhile now that ETN would lose his spot to Tank Bigsby

The jags should've traded ETN and gotten a couple of linemen.

I know that's not a popular opinion but no matter who it is they should play their better talent.

The NFL is a business and ETN could possibly land elsewhere and fare better

They would probably get one 5th rounder for him.
