Imagine us in 5 receiver set. Which 5 do you send out and Why?

I'm thinking Williams and Cain on the outsides, Scott and Refrow in the slots and Leggett. Then off course DW4 tucks and runs

I like that goal line package, but if I could make one change, I'd put choice in. I think we will see him in Beast Mode this year, and also spell Wayne now and then.

AGREED, if we are going to actually pass the ball on a goal line play, we wouldn't dare leave a 6'5" great hands Leggett out.

Only a matter of time. Best player by far at the Shrine Bowl, best player I've EVER seen at the Shrine Bowl, most receptions in the history of NC high school football, & he will have no problem blocking.
I know it gets on people's nerves, but I'm asking again...
If Michael Irvin was a Freshman at Clemson, would you put him on the field over Leggett?
Plus Leggett has been consistently inconsistent. He had a good year last year, but let's not act like he's the most focused player.
I watched Powell go up and make a catch at Shrine Bowl practice that left everyone that saw it speechless. The coaches were trying to get the players to focused again, but even they couldn't gather themselves so everything was just hoopla for about 5 mins. LoL. The players were all just starring at him like Ohhhhhhhhhhh Myyyyyyyyyyyyy Goooooooooodnesssss. Remember when Dabo Swinney said it was like Jordan stepping on the field when Sammy showed up to Clemson? That's what that situation was like.
I don't give a #### about unproven, stars, class rankings who we already have, bla bla bla. When CP gets to Clemson get your popcorn ready & just watch.
All you gotta do is split Cornell Powell out wide &....
THORW IT UP MOTHER ######, THROW IT UP, THROW IT UP MOTHER ###### THROW IT UP!

I know I'm beating the horse to death, but once Powell gets on campus the fact that you put a question mark will become very laughable, whether you're kidding or not...
Barring injury, he ain't redshirting. I know it's hard for people to fathom, but once he gets going the talent gap between him and the WR's we already have will show. His ceiling is higher than all of them.
Overton has tremendous upside, but IMO he's not strong enough to warrant playing him. If Tommy Bowden was here he would play, but we have the luxury of a RS for guys like him now. One year in the weight room to mold that 6'5 frame & he will be ready to roll.

There is no questions of why you have a 48% pulse. I'm not saying you're a coot either. I'm saying that you don't quite understand the transfer from HS level to the college level....

I GLADLY take that score & don't sweat it one bit. I don't need a bunch of internet flunkies to validate my opinion. Most of my TD's came when I tried to tell everyone that DW4's skillset is Joe Montana 2.0. The lame-o brigade was out in full force.
Then Nikki ran an article from an interview with Sam Wyche, an NFL LEGEND, where he stated the EXACT SAME THING, and people are still dismissive. Not a problem. I expected it. People don't like it when you're smarter than they are, just ask Walt Deptula. Like I said, it's hard being this awesome. ??
My opinion of DW4 was spot on whether ANYONE on tigernet agrees or not. He should have started day 1 on the road in Athens at a position that is much harder to learn than WR. And with DW4 throwing Powell the ball & the best WR coach in the country coaching him he's going to make a TON of big plays as a TRUE FRESHMAN. Plus Dabo has learned to just play the best player whether he's a freshman or not. If Deon Cain can come as an immature true freshman, that played QB in HS, and have the kind of year he did, there is NO REASON to think Powell can't either. He's more mature, more talented, & more polished than Cain was. How's that for understanding the transition from us to college.
You clearly don't understand how good Cornell Powell is. Got you on the list too.
Elite level WR's have came in and had great freshman years. Sammy, AJ Green, Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley & otherssssssss.
Imo, Cornell Powell is more gifted than all of them. The only player I've been able to compare him to is Michael Irvin.
So feel free to disagree & think Jordan Leggett should be on the field over Powell.
Thumbs down, Mark it down, make snide comments, call me a coot, bla bla bla bla bla.
Cornell Powell = Michael Irvin 2.0
Deshaun Watson type talent.
& once he gets on campus you'll see.
Just wait on the practice reports & it would mot surprise me one bit if he scores a receiving TD & returns a kickoff for a TD vs the Barn.
Him & DW4 are the closest thing to a sure thing we've had at Clemson.
If they had 6 star rankings they would not get that imo.
Can't Wait
Captain Stoudt...

This guy seriously knows nothing except quotes from other people. He knows nothing of sports, babbles incoherently about soccer and nascar, and apparently wants to blow Cornell Powell. And, doesn't donate to site. He can't get banned quick enough. F'n Cocklover.

Hard to say all I know is quotes when I'm the only one saying this about Cornell Powell & I stated that DW4 = Joe Moe 2.0 before ANYONE & that Clemson is DEFENSIVE END UNIVERSITY. I came on the board before any of those articles ran. You would think the T-net folks are telling me to make my posts with how.much we agree. Original opinions always bother people like you because your small brain can't take it. People don't like it when you're smarter than they are, just ask Walt Deptula. It's tough being this awesome. ??
Now it's time to just sit back & wait for Cornell Powell to get to campus.

Not to interrupt your hyperbole, but let's let CP be CP, rather than comparing him to the, Playmaker. Michael Irvin is one of the top receivers to play the game EVER. At any level. He, Rice, and a Sterling Sharpe(a ####, but true) owned the NFL when healthy. Does he redshirt at Clemson, most likely not. Does CP? Most likely not. Does Irvin start most games as a true freshman over say, Mike Williams? Hmm I doubt it. Will CP? Doubtful as well. We get it. We ALL get it, your a fan of him. News flash, we ALL hope he's as great as you say. But it's often better to temper your expectations and let freshman do their thing, let coaches coach and trust in our decision makers. When it's his turn to shine I'm sure he will be all that and more, maybe even a Playmaker.

You already have Williams, Scott and Renfrow. Then you clear our Gallman (or Feaster would be perfect) into the slot and Leggett opposite of Williams. That's unstoppable and won't require substitutions to get back to running the ball.
