How often have we seen this formation this season?

I keep wondering if we will ever see Dj and TL on the field at the same time

We average 46 points per game. I don't know how much more we can open up. That's an incredible number of points to put on the board. Anyone we play for the rest of the season that we hold under 30 points - I like our chances. A lot.

ETN is poised to go off against the domers. I think we will see a CJ Spiller type ACC CG performance only with a different outcome than that one had.

I feel like I read something like this posted several times recently but I can't seem to remember who posted it.

I posted it yesterday. LJD gets big runs because the defense thinks when He is in the backfield we are not going to run the ball. ETN has shown himself to be a capable receiver this year and especially if Ladson and Ngata can’t go there is no reason not to put him out there at receiver. Put him in the slot and move Rodgers wide to the field. Powell on the boundary. All kind of possibilities from that formation.

ACC POY is key to opening the offense? Hmm...

I was being sarcastic because I posted it last week and then referenced my post yesterday in another thread.
My suggestion was to start ETN in the slot but run him on the JET motion.
That allows ETN to touch the ball when he is already running at full speed.
You could have the option of using Lyn J in the formation as well as a secondary run threat.
Moving the secondary's and LB's eyes watching ETN would also help get WRs some open looks on the outside.
I do not like the idea of putting ETN in the slot to run pass routes on more than 2-3 plays in the game.

I said yesterday this would not be as a decoy. Would be creating more ways to get the ACC POY the ball in space. Jet sweep and bubble screen. The decoy is LJD but if you do give it to him in this situation he will not be facing the extra man in the box that ETN does. Trevor makes the read - if the D follows ETN give to LJD. If not, then toss the ball to the best running back in the country. Like the saints used Kamara the first year.

I like it. Offense seems stale and predictable many times. As for the 45 pt average, throw out GA tech and citadel. We were gifted 45 last week against va tech. Could have been nail biter to the end. They whooped us on both sides of the ball. Our offense scored 24 pts last week. BC did too but we had an excuse for BC.
ND gifted us some points too. So yes, decoy, slot, whatever, try something.

How on Earth do you figure our offense only scored 24 points last week?
Gifted 45 points?
Also, you are removing the Citadel where we only scored a few points above our average and "elected" to not score the entire second half?
Also, VA Tech "whooped" us?
Also, ND "gifted" us points too? In what way? I believe we in fact "gifted" ND some points.
I know you like to troll but this seems like a lot in one post.

ND gifted us points? Come on man, we gave them the entire game. VT gifted us 45 points? In the second half, we clicked on all cylinders and played like the best team in the country as we should.

Heck let’s line them both up in the back field at the same time and see what happens!

I think ETN is going to be a big reason we win the NC. He is about to show out the next 3 games . But if he has games like the last 3-4 we won’t beat Bama .

I don’t think this will repeat this go around.
I suspect we will open up the playbook.

With the loss of our deep threat WR, defenses are not respecting the deep ball. Rodgers was a great jet motion receiver. Looks like his role has changed some since Ladson and Ross are out.
But coach TE has completely went away from it the past few games. We have Spector that would fit nicely at a jet motion receiver.
Open up the playbook!? I beginning to wonder if there is anything else. Domer coach Kelly already knows that the only difference is TL QB runs. I truly hope I’m wrong
