And then Miami loses to Clemson in the ACCCG that Bama would get into playoff over Miami because a loss to Auburn would be better than a loss to Clemson. Last time I looked Auburn was #6 and Clemson was #3. Also in that case Bama would be at home while Miami played in ACCCG. What a dumb bunch of trolls.

To add. Auburn also lost to Clemson on the field. Not only was it a loss, it was a domination. Maybe the score difference was only 14 but if you recall we basically only ran the ball in the 2nd half and Auburn was consistently 3 and out. The will was sacked out of them.

and Wisconsin. They would have to pray for Ohio State and TCU to win their conferences, and I'm still not sure they would get in ahead of 11-2 OSU.
Without a win over Auburn and a game against UGA, Bamas schedule is really weak. Two solid wins over MSU and LSU and that's it.

Wrong, a loss to Clemson would still be more impressive than to Auburn. Especially after we smack the SEC right out of the Coots in front of a national television audience Saturday.
UGA is a good team, but the Auburn beat down just proved they're not "elite". In no way shape or form did that game change my opinion about Auburn is/was.
Anyways, Bama won't lose to Auburn.

THat all hinges on what OU and Wisconsin does. If those two win out they have two spots. Then one spot will be Clemson/Miami and one will be UGA/Auburn. No spots left for Alabama or Miami.

Possible scenario
1. Wisconsin goes undefeated
2. Clemson beats #24 yardbirds then #2 Miami ACC championship
3. Oklahoma wins out
4. Auburn beats BAMA, JAWGA, auburn Wins SEC
Not enough room for BAMa to get in. Head to head, no conference title etc...

I wouldn’t be so sure an 11-1 Bama wouldn’t get the nod over a two loss Auburn for that spot despite the H2H. Situation looks a lot like 11-1 tOSU getting in over a 2 loss CC Penn State when Penn State also had the H2H over tOSU.
Just because the Tigers proved tOSU had no business being there over Penn State, I wouldn’t count Bama out as they may still get the benefit of doubt based simply on them being Bama.

I feel like they may - may! - have learned their lesson by putting in the brand name last year with OSU.
Might depend on the game. If Auburn dominates Alabama, it'd be hard to put the Tide in. If Auburn sneaks by with another miracle tip and kick return like they did in 2013, that's another thing.
I think Auburn wins this weekend, and I think they do so pretty convincingly. Alabama's run defense is weaker right now than I've seen it since Saban has been there, like, ever, and it has everything to do with injuries. They just don't have the bodies right now at LB, and they aren't built to win any other way than the way they do win: by leaning on their defense and beating teams up at the LOS. If they can't do that, they aren't going to win a shootout.

And their only loss was to another. Bama doesn't have anywhere close to that kind of schedule. If they lose to auburn they have wins over a top 10-15 Miss St and maybe top 20-25 LSU provided LSU doesn't lose to A&M. That's really it.. rest of Bamas schedule is really mediocre.

If Auburn defeats Alabama Saturday and defeats Georgia for the SEC Championship, they are in. If the committee puts Alabama in, it will be because of perception and perception has no measurable factor in the 4-team selection. The so-called ESPN experts are basing their opinion on perception, as if Alabama automatically belongs.
Many "experts" point to the fact Alabama has lost a lot of plyers to injuries. I have not read or heard them talk about Clemson's injuries. Alabama's 85 man roster consists almost entirely of four and five star recruits. There should be sufficient depth on their team to plug the holes. It appears to me Saban has not developed his talent or he doesn't want to waste a few red shirts at the end of the season.
