Trickett is obviously the better passer

and in the FSU offense, I have no idea why he isnt starting. FSU doesnt run a Dual threat QB friendly offense IMO

Manuel hasn't been that impressive running the ball either

I know that coming out of high school he was highly recruited as a dual-threat QB, but so far, he hasn't been anything extraordinary when it comes to rushing. He has 517 yards rushing over the past 3 seasons on 195 attempts, which comes out to about 2.6 yards per carry. He does have 7 TD's on the ground as well.
Even if you take into account he roughly 200 yards he lost due to sacks, he still only averages 3.5 yards per carry.

Careful what you wish for...Trickett shredded us last year

Manuel doesn't seem like as solid a passer to me. Either way we are going to have our hands full with their DL. This game will be won or lost at line of scrimmage for us. If our OL and DL show up we should be able to keep it close.

Morris vs. Stoops in that one. Venables has dominated FSU.

If we can neutralize their DL we have a decided advantage with their secondary. We just have to run it well enough to keep them honest.
Venables, while at Oklahoma, absolutely shut down FSU the last two years. I don't think he has less talent to work with here than he did at OU on defense, either.

Trickett's play based on last year's game. Was that his 1st start?

I prefer to play against EJ. He's entirely overrated and can't do anything under pressure.
