in north Georgia. Did not feel anything

Wife thought a helicopter was landing on the house. I was in the basement and thought wife had turned on the whole house fan for a few seconds.

My folks were at their cabin in Western NC which is about 60 miles from the center of the quake in Maryville TN. They said the walls shook but nothing was damaged. My sister in Marietta also said she felt it.

and are sent home from work because of a city-wide power outage, only to return home to find everything not nailed down, on the floor, and in pieces. it is quite a site, I can assure you.
