I'm going to say that may only be because Ewers struggled a bit from missing the last 2 games and a couple of guys may be questionable due to injury.

I assume there is some skepticism based on texas’ schedule thus far. The big win over Michigan hasn’t turned out to be so big. UGA has beaten top 10 Clemson and perhaps should have beaten top 10 Bama. To me the team look to potentially be pretty evenly matched. I think tu has a slightly better offense and ugly a slight better defense. I figured tu would be favored since they are at home though.

Me too. Dawgs have been too inconsistent and slow in starting to think they should be favored of Texas. Yesterday UGA got lit up by a true freshman making his second start. I can only imagine what Sarkisian may be cooking up for the Texas passing game.

Here is something that some people either don't know or they forget at times.
Las Vegas sets the betting line in such a way as to encourage people to bet both sides of the proposition. They will favor GA to entice more TX bets. If they get enough of those, they may shift the line a bit - maybe even to favor TX.

You must have been looking at pre-season lines. Texas has been favored since lines were released yesterday/today.
