I’m not a coot so don’t down vote me but hypothetically if Watson never played another down ( again not a coot) would he still get the entirety of his contract.

He can’t be the sharpest knife in the drawer to be dumb enough to put his self in this position. Hard to feel sorry for him

Cleveland ownership was so stupid...

Plus as allegations and evidence continue to mount... whether he is guilty of something that will get him in civil court remains to be seen... but there can be no denying is a dumber than a box of leg hair.

Have tried to have his back and believe that he was innocent but it's getting harder. I'll hold out a little longer believing he's a good man.

agreed, no matter if he is guilty in a civil or crim court

Even if he proves all of the encounters were consensual and he did nothing criminal or abusive, the sheer number of them stains his character and reputation to me. I believe he has a good heart as far as his charity and community work but has some moral and personal demons to workout similar to Tiger Woods.

Not a lawyer but my understanding, from listening to agents and sports attorneys on TV the last couple of days, these new cases could possibly damage DW4's ability to get all he signed for, especially if one of them is filed in criminal court. This week has not been a good one for Deshaun so far. It appears now that the Texans were aware of his "inclinations" while in Houston and apparently helped enable him. Unfortunately, it's probably only a matter of time before SI or the NY Times tries to do an expose on his 3 years in college here. Hopefully, he was as high character as Dabo said he was while at Clemson. If they find two or three coeds with similar sexual abuse stories to tell while at CU from 2014-2017, then their 'hot take' would focus on how was he enabled, which would eventually have them looking at the Athletic Dept. We all still remember the publicity mess from Penn State 12 years ago and that wasn't pretty. Regardless of how these civil cases turn out, he'd better volunteer for counseling and admit that he has some kind of a problem at the least, so he can salvage his career. He has gotten some awful, witless advice and direction from his agents, handlers and lawyers since this entire thing began over a year ago. DW4 will go down in NCAA history as one of the greatest clutch, big game QBs in the college game, but he could also be seen, depending on what shakes out in the next few months, as one of the most infamous sexual predators in the history of the NFL. If, and that's a big if, this is what happens, we all know which story he would likely be remembered for in our present American culture.
