Dumb March madness TV schedule today

They should have had games starting at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm. Instead they have 2 games at 7:30ish and 2 at 9:30ish.
Just plain dumb.

Yea not sure how that is dumb. I do think the game in Boston being so late is kinda dumb but they don't have a choice. Maybe they could do 6 and 9 start times.

They have always done that for sweet sixteen games. Its prime time TV at night. Two games seperated by 30 mins start times head to head. And the two more games head to head after that. Its tradition.

It's all about the money. Prime time TV means more viewers. With more viewers they can charge advertisers more dollars. They don't care that kids have school tomorrow.

Viewership does not really increase if you have 2 games on at the same time. It splits viewers per game.
