was very effective against NC State especially in the second half. It looked like a 3-2 with the point picking up their point guard beyond the three point line. Essentially it pushed NC State's guards further from the basket and off the marks they were shooting on in the first half. Duke also did a good job intercepting the lob passes inside to the State big men. We may need to employ some zone (which Brownell hates to play) against NC State as well. And also be prepared because we will see the same defense against Duke to defend our three point shooting.

They used it first late at Wake on Saturday. It's not a hidden secret and now teams can come up with game plans for it...

No offense, but that was state's game of the year. I expect at least a 20 pt beatdown where our bench gets plenty of time.

Hope you are right. But a road game at NC State could be tougher than you think. May need to factor in that, although Chase Hunter has been playing so confident, it may take him a game or two to get his shooting stroke back after the flu. We need everyone to step up especially our big men inside.
