There is a ton of mixed messaging regarding the seeds for ACC teams.

Are we respected or not? Duke and Clemson probably under seeded. UNC should not have come close to making the tournament. So do they respect the ACC or not?

I know, I know. TV ratings. But still.

at the end of the day if you are a #1 seed then you are a #1 seed. Pretty good deal for Duke as well that they only have a 15 min car ride to their 1st 2 games....thats the real advantage.

and went 3-3 in those games. In the past 3 months, they played only 2 ranked teams...going 1-1.

While Duke is good, they by far had the easiest path of any #1 seed.

I think it’s pretty simple. No respect for the ACC but put North Carolina in because they are a name brand and like you said TV ratings…. Other than Duke and maybe Syracuse if any other ACC team had their resume they wouldn’t have even been on the bubble

We ended up about where we belong, surprisingly. Duke was always a bit of a long shot for the #1 overall. They have an awesome KenPom rating, but they don't the resume to go along with it due to the ACC being so bad this year.

I think Florida is better than Auburn right now, but the committee didn't seem to put any stock in conference tournaments this year.

What good does it do to be the first overall seed?
Other than patting yourself on the back.

Duke is a #1 seed and they get to play about 15 miles from their campus.
What did they miss out on???
