1985-1986 Johnstone E-6....Room faced the facilities building and DV...Best view ever at night...still dream about it.
1987-1989 Clemson Courts II ...Stumbling distance to the Barrel Tavern where my roommate bartended, there was never a dry hour of the day or night even on Sunday as he had a key and as long as we paid for it the proprietor, an on-campus police officer, let us "borrow" beer.

You forgot being Hall Bartender Extroidinaire--for a week. Where did you come up with those 'shapley glasses" still has both me, Charles Goodin, and Danny Rhodes wondering. Did they really come from the basement of "The Red Carpet" or were they 'imported' from "Gene Mizerak's Resaurant" in Greenville.
C-4 and F-2 Annex salute your prowness, Harry. May the spirit of Danny Lee conjure up many variants of the flammable dormitory clothing wash applied in the laundry on an early Sunday Mornings just before the 10:45 bells at Forest Hills Church. At the end of the semester, the Quartermaster usually came up short about 18 greens, 30 khakis, untold boots, various webbing, and 300+ socks. Even some of the Counter Guerrilla units attempted to spray-wash their own m-14 and M-16s. Come to find out the 'detergent" had a lasting effect on etched metal. Some Bright Advanced ROTC students plugged the ends of the barrels so the rifling was not affected. Others were not so fortunate, and had to endure 500-1000 push-ups from their Co. CO.

I went to Clemson 63-67, and the dorms didn't have names then. I think the only two buildings on campus that students used names for were Tillman and Hardin. The tin cans were A-F; the shoe boxes were 9,10, 11,12,& 13; and the frat houses.
I lived in 9 (next to Sirrine) my freshman year, and on D-2 in the cans my sophomore year. 11 (next to the street) was just being completed when I moved in my junior year. 12 and 13 were just finished my senior year, and I lived in 13.
Since I majored in textiles and most of my classes were in the Textile Building (Sirrine), my dorm locations were always very convenient.

LOL I'd probably remember you from Clemson if I saw you, I was there the exact same years... and stayed at Riverbank Commons the same year as you after 2 years in Johnstone, then moved to Charleston Ave but had lots of friends at Cedarwoods and hung out there a good bit.

Spent senior year 84-85 at my parents' house on Lake Hartwell. Married that girl from Manning Hall I met at Schilletter cookie break in 82. Pivotal times in those formative years!

1981-1985 D-Johnstone facing the laundry building. Loved it! Small hall which made for great lifelong friendships. Can still hear the coal drop at the power plant.
1989-1991 Calhoun Court the second unit on the left near the commons building. Went back for my Masters and stayed in the “ new” Calhoun courts. Great place, quiet compared to D-2 but not near as fun!

78-79 - Johnstone E6. Faced the P-plant. Used to throw wet toilet paper wads at the meter maid’s cart as she marked tires. Also yelled D-section sucks out the window a lot.

But I spent a majority of my time in the Phi Delta Theta Quad, even though I didn’t pledge until spring ‘03.
After that amazing year of college I realized I had no idea what I wanted to do so I dropped out of school. Took 13 years off and now I’m an engineering student through Arizona State U. Not as awesome as Clemson, but at least I’ll be a graduate in December ‘19...
