Is this the best qb we have faced in the last few years?
Unless we score 40 + on them, we might not be able to win the ACC championship.
Do you guys think DJ can stand up.to the challenge?
Drake.might end up winning the Heisman, if he keeps it up..

The ACC championship game will be a toss up. The good news is that UNC has a bad defense. I'm concerned about our defense though, we're very susceptible to the run. Our DL was supposed to be the best in the nation, but it's been pretty average.

We tend to struggle against bad defenses…good defenses…avg defenses…the wind…sunlight…anything on a football field.

Unc gave up 61 to app State.
Unc beat Georgia state by 7.
Unc lost to Notre dame by 13. Unc scored 2 late tds to get that close.
Unc beat Miami by 3. Miami? Of course we play them Saturday, but they are not good.
Unc beat Duke by 3.
Unc beat uva by 3. UVA is not very good.
Unc beat wake by 2.
Maybe maye lights us up, but the results above don’t show a strong unc team.

Yep, even with all their offensive pyrotechnics, the Tarholes have won 6 games by 7 or less. Lousy defense. If our Oline blocks, Ship and Maffah will cut them to pieces.

Notre Dame isn’t a good team and you saw what happened in that game. They dominated us from start to finish.

The UNC receiver’s foot was in by a tenth of an inch, otherwise that’s an L to Duke.

He plays like Jameis used to play. I think minus squinting at the Sideline, they are very close. Lots of extended plays. Ends up very accurate. Can make needed runs, but not primary goal.
Playing in Charlotte can garner quite the tar hole pit. Let's hope us Tiger fans travel well here. Glad to be back.
Some obvious deficits on defense, especially early in games in the secondary.
Some obvious run game defense blow ups. Some very bad lately. Louisville game me some hope though.
DJ. Simple... Which one do we get? We'll need points. Lots.
Fingers crossed. Always rooting for my Tigers!

Keep their O on the sideline by pounding the ball on the ground. Eat up clock, keep our defense fresh going into the 4th qtr. With their defensive woes this season there is no reason we shouldn't be able to do that. Make their safeties move into the box and hit Williams, Allen and Briningstool over the middle when it starts to open up. Not that our coaches have to have someone else to break it down but I'm sure there will be a phone call to Chase Brice prior to kickoff.

Normally, if the edge on QB (huge) and offensive coaching goes to one side, that side wins. It will depend on how we play. If the D is fired up and DJ doesn’t have another 2021 relapse, we can win.

Yes, best QB while healthy.
He doesn't take a lot of hits, but his style of slide invites Targeting flags because he rarely leads with his feet.
Extremely accurate, sees the whole field, good rapport with receivers, Mack's not afraid to throw it 50x, not afraid to run up tempo and get into a track meet. Awesome QB for a RS freshman.
They usually start fast but ND was the exception. Frequently put up 300 total yards by halftime. We have had whole games when we barely achieved that. They have 1 WR who has scored 10+ TDs and almost 50% of their production. (Josh Downs). If Goodwin can triple-team him, we can stop their offense. No one else has.
We will definitely move the ball on them. For us it will be all about finishing drives. Good LBS but they get overmatched in the passing game. Very thin in defensive secondary. Mack believes in his defense and they can make good adjustments in spite of their struggles.
Their game with Wake was a tale of two halves. Extremely explosive first half, second half almost boring, even silly, with both coaches turning the ball over on downs while in easy FG range.
Potter is definitely better than their guy, so if it comes to that, we're ok.
