I can't really explain what happened at Syracuse, besides the obvious; we were out-prepared, outcoached, and outplayed. If I or anybody else knew of a foolproof way to prevent that, we'd be the greatest coach of all time. Having said all of that, if our defense gets back to normal, they can keep us in a lot of games, even if the offense is struggling. I can attribute most of our struggles on offense Friday night to QB problems. Give ZC and/or HJ another week of experience, allow the coaches to tweak the offense for them, AND assume our defense turns it up just a little, and yes we can win at NCST.

should change positions based off the extremely limited playing time he got. Zerrick Cooper played fine under the circumstances of that game. He missed a few throws high and didn't read the blitz one time but he's a redshirt freshman that got thrown into a game in which the defense would not get off the field and the offense was on the sidelines most the game. Even with Deshaun the offense would be out of rhythm and look the same and the same exact thing happened last year several times. Just think back to last year, there were mouth breathers on here calling for Deshaun Watson, the best QB in Clemson history, to be benched for this very same reason.
I don't know what chicken littles like yourself see in NC state this year, they have not been anything special but for whatever reason them squeaking out a victory over a below average and severely banged up FSU team has some convinced they're a power house.
