Not worried about kicker

Spence was offered a scholarship out of HS bc he was a good kicker. Just so happens Huegel has been pretty darn consistent. Spence is in his 4th year with us and knows what is takes. He will be fine. None of our kickers are going to nail 55 yarders but that's fine. Spence will be good and we know it's always next man up.
I'm more worried about DE depth but I think Kelly and Foster will be fine but they need real game experience.

They shouldn't have to. 55 yarders mean the O didnt do their jobs. Our kickers need to do PAT's

By all accounts, spence has been a huge bust. I would t be surprised if groomed kicks instead.

so clearly, it can be a problem going from the starter to the back-up.

True. But it was the KO return and the onside kick that hurt the most. Those issues have since been cleaned up. All Clemson needs is a decent kicker, which is pretty much what Huegel has been.

You do realize...

that both of the things you generally do following a TD (a PAT and a KO) requires a kicker.

His leg fell off. Might miss a game or two until the new robotic one comes in.

I have heard from a couple of students that are working for the athletic Department. That after GH it's pretty bad and that in practice it's kinda comical. So let's hope that my inside info is way off . Don't shoot the messenger, just telling y'all what I herd.

Maybe if Swoffie intervenes on our behalf, the NCAA will let us bring in B.T.Potter a little early.
