Absolutely inexcusable to be as positive as I am right now. Our program is not being helped by my lack of vigilance. I hope, for the sake of the program, I can find a way to get a more balanced perspective. If we lose to LSU I will need to live in a hospital for years.

I'm more optimistic about our program than I have been in years. If Allen can recruit in the South, one of my main concerns will be taken care of.

The dude is so awkward and totally lacks inspirational energy.
The only reason Tom Allen doesn't run through walls is because door's are more sensible. I have seen so much footage of his players looking at him with respect and love. Allen's energy and sincerity and experience will inject something very beneficial to our team recruiting approach.

I’m way more optimistic than I was after the Streeter/Goodwin/other hires. More optimistic than I was in 2019/2020 or anytime since.
Trying to temper that though. I’m marking LSU as a toss up. Not that my marking it matters to anyone else, but it does my to my psyche. First few games may be rusty/working out the Goodwin kinks. Plus need a rb to step up. Even with a stud that could take a bit of time

Dabo has been on a roll. Part of me wishes it would’ve happened sooner, but you don’t want to change too much at once or you’ll never be able to figure out why the change was or wasn’t successful. It’s been a steady redesign and every hire since Eason has been a solid hire. Here’s to hoping this one will be, too.

I do believe there are a number of coaches who are ahead of Dabo right now. But, Lord willing, CDS will pass a some of them in the next few years. Who?

I can’t say you’re wrong. My only argument is that Dabo already has more natties than a few you listed as being above him. You left off Urban Meyer too. He has 3 natties.
