That is what I meant. Gonzaga and some of the WCC teams. American, A10, and MtnWest like Boise State last year are fine, just no quad 3 or 4 type mid major Conference teams for the two games.

To me, it shows confidence in our conference. When you play in conference, you always have a winner and loser, so the NET rankings offset each other to some degree.
Playing 2 additional out of conference games it gives us the chance to make gains in NET.

The conference has sucked eggs out of conference so we’re gonna do more of that and we’re going to heighten the imbalance within conference since there will be even less interplay.. It’s the absolute dumbest thing they could have possibly done.

If you constantly complain about how weak the ACC and you want to see us play better competition, then this should be good for Clemson.
jizztiz doesn't want what is good for Clemson basketball, which is why he is angry.

Expansion to 18 teams without divisions was stupid. There is no consistency of strength of schedule - even in conference. Shifting more games OOC is only gong to heighten disparities like Wake Forest being one of the worst P5 teams in the country during the OOC slate yet finishing 4th in the ACC because of their schedule draw. It hurts the conference. This shouldn’t be remotely controversial. The decision is guided by network programming that sees more value in letting their BIg 10 and SEC partners treat the ACC as a whipping post and further devalue the conference. They ran this playbook on football to perfection and the idiots that run this conference are bending over for another round. Not surprised you two can’t set your biases aside.

The ACC must be doing this to reduce the fatigue and injuries that come from the extremely tough gauntlet of playing 20 conference games in the ACC. With only 18 games, each game will just mean more. Fans all over the country will be chanting “ACC, ACC” before you know it.

I hate ACC games in December. I miss the days when we would roll off 10 wins in Nov/December against cupcakes then fall apart in January when we start the ACC schedule. Of course with BrownL the little guys like McNeese and MoreHead are never a guarantee.
