Tonight locked a regional host for us no doubt. I think we have to win the whole thing to host a super because they're greasing up the SEC to no end this year.

Tigers have the most Quad 1 and 2 wins of ANY team in country. Why we wouldnt already have a nation seed locked up only God knows.

The Duke, FSU, and State series hurt us a good bit in regard to NCAA seeding.

Funny thing is if we had won 1 more game in those 3 series, or not lost that last game to Louisville, we would have been #1 seed in ACC.
But the sweep of Pitt and now making the semis of ACC tourney has given us new life.

Take a look at the teams ahead of us in the race for top 8 seed and you will see why it will be hard to get back to a national seed . All those top 8 seeds currently are red hot and we won’t be able to move ahead of enough of them to host a super .

Just not so. Some of those teams lost early in their conference race and Oregon State not being in a tournament may very well cost them. LSU and Tennessee losing ASAP will help too. If the team wins out, it will be hard to argue against. Glad to see your snippet of optimism as always.

If we win the tournament we're proably like the #6 seed, idk how you keep a 45 win Clemson team from hosting if we beat GT and UNC/FSU. Our RPI would be like top 5 at that point.

I think the 1-5 seeds are clinched (Texas, Arkansas, Vandy, UNC, and LSU.) So in my mind with a GT win and finals loss, it's like maybe a 50-50 chance we'd jump up to 6, 7, or 8. FSU and Tennesee are also hosting but not national seeds and if they win their respective tournaments I imagine they move up to a top 8 seed. So it kind of depends on what goes on around us as well.
