For public universities? The law applies to the public sector.

Nepotism (favoritism based on kinship)
is strictly forbidden by the Act. Over the
course of your public employment you
may not:
- Cause the employment,
appointment, promotion or
transfer of a family member to a
position you supervise or
manage.
- Participate in the discipline of a
family member.
- Family members: spouse, parent,
brothers, sister, child, in-laws,
grandparent or grandchild.

They never heard of that law in Union County, obviously. Most corrupt, nepotistic town/county in the state. Glad I no longer have a reason to go there anymore.

You have confused cronyism and nepotism.

Dabo's son is a glorified intern whos involvement with the program for the overwhelming majority of his life makes him expertly qualified to set up cones and help run practice drills.

mmm. Looks like there is another for Director of Football Security. Whatever that means.

His son's position is so inconsequential it doesn't even make it on to his dad's website:

Either way though...his son is a glorified volunteer and his proximity to the program for so many years makes him more than qualified for his current role.

Dabo, Tracy, Drew, and Will are on staff (Will is just an intern for now) and Clay is on the team as the starting holder.

The only Swinney that is employed by the state of SC is Dabo. He is paid $345K. The others may be employed by Iptay.
