Are you kidding me we spent a whole year with Dabo telling us how great DJ is and yet don’t look at what we’re seeing . This is unbelievable, a home game with a filled house of Clemson Tigers and this is the performance … I am done with it I really am angry now!

It will be invaluable for Cade to start and play the entire ACC Championship game and bowl game. Dj has had the opportunity to prove himself and he has failed. Dabo has to look to the future, Dj is the past.

opening himself up to even MORE criticism if Cade suddenly played like a world beater.
With the improvement in the defense as the year went on, I think we really threw away a possible Natty winning team by sticking with DJ at QB. But, it is not the first time that lack of a great QB cost us Nattys. Danny had a couple teams that could have won it all if not for Rodney Williams. And we CERTAINLY could have won it all in 2017 had DW4 come back for his senior campaign.
But, if Ifs and Buts were Cheese and Nuts, none of us would ever go hungry.

That would hurt DJ's feelings....we have to let him stay out there and do simple stuff in losses because he can't run the entire playbook as a Junior.
If I were Cade, I'd transfer.

There is no excuse to keep Cade on the bench and start DJ after today's performance. If Cade is the future of the program then he needs and deserves to start even if he's worse. It is time to invest in Cade. DJ's performance today speaks for itself. If Dabo has been worried about DJ's confidence all this time, then it's time for him to worry about the confidence of the rest of the team i.e. the confidence of Shipley who was dominant today and muzzled by the coaches and Cade's confidence who has been sat behind DJ all season. I would almost say Dabo let DJ throw the ball in order to improve his draft stock but for the life of me I don't understand what draft stock DJ possibly has or how it could be improved by him throwing more.
If DJ starts, he'll take his confidence and possibly another loss back to California. If Cade starts, then DJ makes a sacrifice for the team and Cade might be able to send Clemson off with a lot of momentum and a sense of hope. At least the community would feel like a change was made.

It’s too late. The die is cast. Cade should have started all year and everyone, including the coaches lighting up his phone, knows it.
