Heroic story and everyone honors and respect the Red Bandana but I do hope they understand that Clemson is flying up there to beat the shlt out of them and hop on a plane back to South Carolina....

6 points have separated the 2 teams the last 2 years and both were in Death Valley so the Tigers best come ready to play tomorrow night and even more so being the game is finally back in Chestnut Hill,Massachusetts for the first time since 2019.This game kinda scares me a little bit knowing the Tigers are coming off 2 hard fought games against Wake Forest and N.C.State.I just hope the Tigers will come out ready to play like a #5 team is supposed to against a 2-3 team and not let Boston College hang around at all and gain momentum.

IN this situation, I think BC has a chance, "If Clemson makes a bunch of mistakes"!
Clemson has to beat Clemson.
BC has some continuity issues on their OL - as we know from last year if your OL is out of whack it throws everything out of whack.
I anticipate a bunch of screen passes. That way they don't have to attempt to block our front. We are by far the best front they have played; yet they have given up 17 sacks.
They have also given up a bunch of QB pressures; which I think will be sacks for us.
There is always a chance we do not show up fired up and ready to win!
But, to me, that is the only chance BC has.
They have an OKAY defense; but nothing that will make you write home about and go; "moma you got to see this defense"!

Can and should we out talent them, certainly. I'm kinda feeling like HORRY, for whatever reason... Just a gut feeling I suppose. We've been playing clean and crisp on offense pretty much all year. Can't say that about the defense. Confidence that we'll adjust faster now on defense. Remember too well the cold night in VA Tech a few years back with Trevor being off as well as the receivers. Sure we ended up beating them in the boxscore by multiple digits but VA Tech moved the ball well on us and shortened the game... We were fortunate VA Tech had multiple TO's that helped us. I hope to be pleasant surprise and we leave no doubt in first half.

I am glad they honor him every year. I'm glad Clemson players get to participate in the game and realize that life is more than just football.
But once they tee it up and that whistle blows the final score will not be a reflection of dishonor to Wells. He is equally honored if BC upsets Clemson or if Clemson wins 74-0. Wells is honored either way.
