A school, but it feels like a prison. Apparently Cocky is on a mission to get kids to read. I got in trouble for saying that it's a dude in a dress and that we are essentially having drag queen story hour today.

My wife and I both work for different school districts in Lexington county. She a bookkeeper and myself in IT. Once a year, the high school she works at has an educational foundation dinner at a restaurant right across from the Roach. As we drive past it, she always laughs at my disgust. I can’t help but think those people are from a different planet.

When my daughters were in elementary school he came to the school once a year

and always gave out these SCar books. On different years each of daughters declined the book, evidently the only students to do so. Both times, when asked by the teachers why they didn't take the books, the girls told their teacher they didn't want anything with a gamecock on it. My wife taught at the same school and one of the teachers asked me what I thought about my daughter not taking the book, I told her that I was proud of her and that I personally thought subjecting the children to a giant chicken was child abuse.

Unfortunately for me, I married into that hornets nest. My wife thankfully was converted prior to our marriage. However, I was exposed that at two of my nieces weddings when that ugly garnet and black big bird showed up. I promptly made my apologies and left.

I'm a teacher, but our school couldn't function without our great custodial staff. They are honest, hard working people who deserve our respect as much as any other adult in the building.

Wow! How disgusting. I’m headed to a wedding tomorrow afternoon and they are for the reception having Cocky along with playing sandstorm and asking us to waive white towels as the newly marrieds enter the room. These people go absolutely crazy when the beat is. This is why I despise to see them beat us or do well in any sport. In the face to all us tigers attending.
