Do you want to Dabo to handle off-the field stuff like Spurr

ier? Which is to do nothing to players who break the law/rules? That's Outlaw U. program stuff. and it makes their program look bad and it would be portrayed as such if not for them having local media outlets (State Paper, Columbia talk radio, etc) which make Al-Jazeera look down the middle objective.
Personally, I want our program to have some standards for behavior. It's been my observation S.Carolina fans don't seem to care about this. But I'd hope Clemson fans wouldn't sink to that, and I'm glad Dabo hasn't.

Not sure where you guys get this stuff. Clemson has had plenty of much bigger issues with players than SC with no consequences. At SC, Pot has gotten players kicked off our team. Hitting women, off the team. Drinking a beer underage(Garcia) with their of age brother, suspended for the entire spring.
Do I really need to name names for Clemson players that have received no punishment for much bigger indescretions? BTW, possession of pot and a controlled substance is more serious than any single indescretion by Garcia and you guys love to jump on that one.

No I do not want to be like them. I am mixed about 2 games for Sammy, but I do not want to have their reputation.

Even in the wild, the tiger is respected and revered. His presence bespeaks dignity and honor. For us to justify the "tiger" as our mascot we must conduct ourselves with honor and integrity. I'm grateful that both Coach Swinney and Sammy Watkins are doing just that. It will pay huge dividends down the road. A chicken, on the other hand, is neither dignified nor honorable. Let's face it, chickens are known for illegal fights and frying pans. When a chicken is your mascot nobody expects much. And with the University of South Carolina, they are never disappointed. Go Tigers!!
