it all this year? We seem to get sloppy for long periods during games.

I would never say never, but, it will be an uphill climb. Will need to get past ND first. Remember, one at a time.

As a result of Elliot and Caldwell. But I’m a “coot” for pointing that out

I do not think we have enough defensive consistency due to youth, a game changing WR, or the oline to beat Bama or OSU.

That’s not “coot” as some may say. It’s just honest evaluation. We’re just not there this year. I wish we were, especially for TL and all the seniors.

I don’t see anything in OSU we can beat with our Miami game . Can’t say the same about Bama .

You are not alone. Agree totally. We cannot run the ball. I just watched us try run into a 7 man box and barely got back to the line of scrimmage. We cannot win one on one matchups against quality d linemen.. Elliot is too cute with calls. I do not believe this version of our Tigers can win it. I just told my son that notre dame is probably 10 or more points better. We are just missing something??

We average 507 yards a game. Top 10 nationally through 9 games(speaks to consistency).

I thought we'd run the ball better tonight, but I'm happy to get the W and get to Charlotte.

More worried about the D takes a true team effort.

Powell has problem stretching field and getting separation. Doing a pretty good job, but not the same.

I would also add we didn't lose to ND because of offense!
Early in this game; was the offense getting opportunities? No. They were using their outstanding RB getting 1st downs. I know Skalski is out and was out against ND.
Defense is a much bigger question to ask.
