He should be thanked for his character, heart and will to get better and win. He should be told that there no spot or future at Clemson for him past this season and allowed to make it look like it’s his choice to move on.
Cade Klubnik should be allowed to run this offense the next two games regardless of outcome. There’s nothing to lose at this point, it’s already been lost. Allowing Cade to play will give the fans and team a glimpse of the future and valuable in game experience. It will show skill position players that all is not lost and the future is bright with a QB who can play and think on his feet.

100% agree with this approach. For the love of all things holy, make this become reality. Or, just tell DJ to beat it. That would be fine as well. Any scenario where DJ doesn't return is a huge step forward.

DJ is a high character high class kid. He just doesn’t have it. He can’t think fast enough, read the defense and decision making and ball handling is terrible. At some point regardless of whether or not you like the guy and support him you have to make a change. College football is a business whether you like it or not now. These kids will walk out on a commitment at the drop of a hat. If he isn’t performing, and he isn’t, he should be replaced. If Cade isn’t ready then you need to look at your QB coach and OC. Cade was the best player at his position in his recruiting class. He never lost in high school and broke all of Drew Breese and Sam Ellinger’s records. That makes me think if he ain’t ready something is wrong with the coaching.

Thank you for saying that. I needed to hear a voice of reason after that travesty by DJ today. If Cade doesn't get more reps this year he's going to be almost like a redshirt freshmen next year as far as experience goes. He's had very few reps this year because of DJ's poor play We have not had big enough leads in the second half of games to put him in to get experience.
I'm all for Cade playing the last 2 games as the leader of the team and the other reasons you mentioned.

While I agree with this, I think coaches get a bonus for winning acc championship. For that reason, they will start dju. I hope they rotate Cade in a lot though.
