DJ’s latest interview at spring game

I’ll be surprised if he earns the starter roll but I wish him the best and hopefully he turns it around.

He said he called Oregon State trying to find a fit, that’s a lot of humility from how he was recruited originally.

He’s going to have to work hard and be patient, I think the lime life at Clemson was hard for him.

Would not surprise me one bit if DJ is starter.

Oregon State's QB from last year (Ben Gulbranson) returns but most of their fans are not confident in him and believe almost any QB could come in an upend him.

That said, they do have a freshman (Aidan Chiles) that appears to be dynamic but I didn't get to see much of Oregon State's spring game to form an opinion.

Reading between the lines of their post spring write up, seems like it's a two horse race between DJ and the freshman Aidan Chiles with DJ currently in the lead.

Basically concur with glennjamin182® above. However, believe DJ will be their 2023 starter. Freshman Aidan Chiles has playmaker abilities & potential, but needs college-level development & experience
