Did you forget Joe Burrow? C.J. Stroud? Jalen Hurts and Tua? All of them had amazing stats, two of them national titles, and heisman winners or finalists. And all four have been pretty successful in the NFL.

I would also argue Dillon Gabriel has proven to be pretty amazing. Bo Nix too.

Obviously Trevor and Deshaun were amazing, but there have been a lot of amazing QBs in the last few years.

You do realize that Dillon Gabriel is just 1 year younger than Trevor Lawrence? You don’t get the moniker of “generational” if you could’ve been in the NFL three years ago (this is Trevor’s fourth year in the league).

First, I don't care about how old Dillon is. Age is irrelevant when talking about talent. That's the term wunderkind, not generational.

Second, my main point was this claim that other QBs were relatively trash, when there have been multiple QBs who were every bit as good, or better, than those two. Thinking Burrow is trash is absolutely insane.

Third, you're misusing the moniker of generational. While a QB might be a generational talent for a particular school, there's really no such thing as generational on a national scale. Trevor and Deshaun are the two greatest QBs Clemson's ever had, and it's really not even close. But you can't say they are definitively better players than the others on my list. If we're using the term generational, that would go to Joe Montana, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes in the pros. I'm not sure if I can think of a truly generational (on a national scale) college QB, except maybe Frazier and Tebow.

True Freshman in his first year, 6-1 as a starter, and made Freshman All American. Once he gets more experience, I think he is going to be a good one.
