Different tune then last year.

I think they've learned their lesson and the LT doesn't want Beasley to abuse him

Is this a strategy now or something will every team we play say our D is the best so they can see if Brent Venables will let them take the week off. Good thing we have a amazing D coordinator like BV. He was pretty mad about the BC game he was relieved to get out with a win but a little mad to because of blown plays. Hopefully the D comes out a play tough also wanting the Offense to come out and play hard try to chain together some first downs in the 1st Q this week.

Taking beating like a mule at home after running your mouth for whole week does that to you. They learned their lesson well.

It's different than last year because they know we don't have AC and they're worried about the heat.

I thought going into the season, in terms of NFL talent,

the '10 line was better (Bowers, Branch, Jenkins, Thompson, Goodman, etc.) but after watching this year's team it's not even close! This line is flat out dominant!!

The question is: "What would BV have done with that line?" The style of play today is far superior to what we were bringing in 2010. I love these guys, but that list is really remarkable in terms of sheer talent.

If our Offense could put together some drives in the first half instead of going 3 and out on every drive until the 4th Q then I believe the D won't make alot of mistakes.

You forget that our defenses were pretty good back then

Then problem, though, was a lackluster LB corps. The defense wasn't quite as complete as it is now, although the DBs were probably a little better (and deeper) than they are now.

Funny thing is, we dont really know how good this unit is because our offense, due to a myriad of problems, is so far from what they should be. One thing we know, they've won two games for us.

We have a good idea, after the way they controlled the two games that were lost.. two teams that were, and are still in the top ten. GO TIGERS!!!
