Streeter improved the offense from 2021 to 2022 drastically with DJ of all QBs. Now Watching FSU this year we can all understand that is a huge accomplishment. We don’t know how he would have done with Cade.

I agree. Streeter got more out of DJU than anyone else has so far and that’s a big accomplishment considering what he was working with. The one game he coached Cade was his best performance up to the App St game. I think Streeter took a lot of heat for the offense when actually he was getting the most out of a bad QB.

Streeter defended and even got visibly upset when reporters brought up DJ’s inabilities to move the offense. That was it for me. I know the staff is loyal and that is admirable and the kids appreciate it, but dang when it’s that obvious and you defend it, it makes it seem you have no idea what you are doing.

what in the absolute heck are you talking about? Streeter is the one that ruined DJ…. After seeing DJ against Notre Dame and BC, his freshman here we all knew he was as advertised and a true five star heck at that point I didn’t want Lawrence coming back at the game… The off-season his demeanor was a completely different style. Streeter Drove the mechanics into the ground of every QB he touched!!

😂😂😂
So a coach ruined DJ? That’s why no other team/coaches could make him better? That’s why he’s not the NFL caliber QB he was touted to be?
Get out of here with that garbage. DJ sucks because of DJ. No one else to blame.
Also Streeter wasn’t the OC in 2021. If you want to say he was the QB coach then I’ll counter that with he was the QB coach for the bowl game that Cole Stoubt magically became a great QB. He was the QB coach for Lawrence, Bryant, and DW4. So you want to blame him for DJ but no credit for the Tiger 4 he coached?
It’s still a fact he got the most out of DJ with a #### poor WR core in 2022. Then in 2023 with Riley we got substantially worse with Cade. Now there’s a lot of reasons for last seasons mess but that’s still a fact. Streeter wasn't our problem. Talent was our problem.

I’m still in shock that some people don’t see what has done to some of the QB mechanics.. Lawrence had a bigger talent gap and talent around him, but even his last year was questionable was too big to see some of you just don’t wanna see what you see

His last year we started to see the talent drop. Amari and Powell were decent receivers but they aren’t of the caliber we had before them. Lawrence came in as an NFL caliber QB and left as an NFL caliber QB. You either have it or you don’t. DJ just didn’t have it.
Who gets the props for making Bryant into a decent QB? He came in extremely raw and had to be developed. They got every ounce of ability out of him. But I guess we don’t want to give him credit for that?
