The CFP announcement that they will award the trophy even with a COVID cancellation. Their only chance to win their first title in over 40 years would be to have it gifted to them - yet they are the lower ranked team to Bama. LOL. If Bama wins their game against Cincinnati then Georgia’s chances go to zero because they would either have to play Bama or if they don’t play, Bama gets it anyway.

When UGA wins the title this year (yes, when), they will have done so by defeating the greatest coach in CFB history - in terms of championships and a win over the most morally upright coach in CFB history, in terms of "culture." That will make it exceptionally sweet.

UGA has the best team on paper by far. I predict they are going to physically dominate Michigan and beat Bama by 2 TD’s.
I don’t quite trust Michigan’s passing game and the UGA defensive speed will be like nothing in the Big 10 this year.
Cincy could get into a shootout with Bama, but ultimately I think they fall short. With Bama’s missing players, I just don’t see the being able to control a game against UGA, especially if Pickens is a go.
The QB position is definitely shaky for UGA, not sure I’d be as confident if we were trotting out Bennett or JT, but all of the other pieces are there to mask deficiencies.

I think that michigan will do them in.
Insider information has it that Kirby is esecially hard headed. A few weeks ago JT got hurt. Along with the team doctor he had his own doctor. The team doctor cleared him to play buth his own doctor would not clear him. So, he didn't play and Kirby made sure he will never play.
Bennet is kind of like Boyd. A good qb, but not good enough to win a big game. JT is a better qb.
But because of Kirby attitude he will play Bennet play Bennet and hope for the best.
Case in point: Justin Fields.

That's not how it works. If neither team can play in the Natty, there is no trophy awarded. If one team can't play, the other one is declared the winner. Bama could beat Cincy, get Covid, and UGA gets a fake Natty.
