Forgot to add. Seems like it could if it turned into an NFL minor league and the NFL was part owners. Otherwise, seems tough. They have some good talent out there.

I have thought that as well. It would give some real meaning to the league and the players that are playing. Perfect to hone a skill or remove a problem.

It absolutely is a development league for the nfl. Martavis Bryant spent 1 or 2 years in XFL to get back into the nfl. Last year they before the leagues combined, they marketed themself as a league for guys who were dropped or just flat out overlooked to get in-game reps. PJ Walker got a couple of years with the Panthers after his XFL stint.

They may do ok off of TV revenue, but if I had a team consistently playing to low attendance, I'd want to fill at least the lower arena for appearances. I'd offer free or cheap tickets to local school kids and then make money off $12 nachos and $15 pizza slices.
