He coached a defensive line primarily of 3 star talent at Carolina jr last year to being 3rd in the nation in "Tackles For Losses". ESPN ranks him among the Top 12 recruiters in the nation.

No, Lawing was scared that if he coached Clowney, he would be charged as aiding and abetting a murderer, since some poor runningback will get killed by Clowney next season.

2,11 win season in a row and probably a preseason top 10 is not a sinking ship....it was personal issues and too quickly fixed to be an abandoment. I heard of Lawing, just not Adams.
