I’m not sure if Clemson will be in the hunt for a new DC, but here’s one that I think could get the job done.
Nate Woody DC at Army
Born in NC
Played at Wofford
DC at App. State
Worked at Michigan for Harbaugh
Nominated for this year’s Broyles Award
He knows how to get the most out of his players. He is very technique and scheme sound. He’s also a great LB Coach.

He may be too old to become the next DC, but it would have been beneficial to have his type as an analyst to support a young, inexperienced DC.

At 63, that might be a nice transitional hire for a few seasons while we wait for CBV to spend time with his family during the buyout phase. I’ve been praying his wife has success with the cancer treatments.

That would be too old for a new hire Head Coach, let along a coordinator. I want someone in their 40's, 50's top. I want someone with the energy for the job.

Leonhard did very well at Wisconsin as DC and has done great things with the Broncos secondary.

After the defense's performance against Texas (almost 300 yards rushing allowed), if Davo does not change DCs, then he obviously is clueless.
