DE FOR NEXT YEAR

Given that Kevin Dodd dies come back next year, who do we suspect to be on the other side?
-Austin Bryant? -What about an Albert Huggins getting a look there?
Now is the unexpected happens and Dodd does declare I Think that could cause slight issues for us. Not major, but it would be nice to have that returning leader like we have the past 4-5 years at that position.

Richard Yeargin III will play in Lawson's spot. Dodd will be back next year, and Bryant will back him up. Huggins can't play DE that is why he moved to DT.

Huggins just got too much weight I'm assuming?
I also forgot about Xavier Kelly coming in as well
Richard Yeargin will be a big one. Missed him as well.

I personally think Dodd will be back. He needs another year . he can be one of the best given another year. Many of the guys mentioned can get the other slot. It will matter most with one works hardest over the summer and spring to be ready. But Huggins I feel will get the nod. He's a beast. GO TIGERS!!!!!

Speaking of Huggins. We heard so much about him and he hardly touched the field without a redshirt. Now of course I know we had some studs out there already but that did surprise me some.

Should be fine, even if Dodd goes.

I don't think Kevin Dodd will go. He needs to gain a step in his pass rush and set the edge better.
As far as the future: Dabo mentioned Register learning the position, we've got Xavier Kelly and LaSamuel Davis coming in, a guy most have forgotten about- Clelin Ferrell was a top 10 DE out of high school, and that not to mention guys currently playing.
In a pinch, I think we could even put Christian Wilkins at DE.

I think if Wilkins lost some weight he would be unstoppable at the edge

I agree, if he got down to 275-280, and focused on his speed rush.

Thing is, he really seems to enjoy the interior.

Clellin Ferrell (sp?) will likely be the starter at WSDE next year

Wouldn't mind snagging Gary for some future DE consideration

Cle is a great prospect. Also Bryant is a freak. He showed flashes this year, he came in and dominated that position when he needed to.
