That wins get harder and that changes in new personalities (players & coaches alike) occurs as they graduate, get injured, quit, move on, or are fired..
And thus the great winning times slowly change if you’re lucky and then finally other teams & personalities fill the void..
And that was sadly seen by Clemson around 4-5 or more years ago and now UGa has seen a glimpse of it..with attrition of great players to the NFL, graduating, transferring, injuries, coaches changing, etc.
So, now the BiG 10 has 2 teams in semi-finals with the SEC having 1 and an independent rounding out the Final 4.
Saying, no Bama, no Clemson, no Michigan, no TN, no OK, no Oregon are in it!
Yep. Times are changing a bit but those Buckies are fairly consistent you’d have to admit and where one can see them winning it, but Texas taking the Natty would be sweet.

Or, maybe QB1 being out played a little part in the outcome? Imagine if we had to play our biggest game of the year (Texas) with CV instead of Cade...
I hate the dawgs but I think all they learned is that it is hard to win against really good teams when your starting QB goes down.

I’m wondering if maybe Alabama has learned similar lesson.

UGA will still get great recruits and win alot of games.....but the fact is unless your bama or 90's miami.....your time of domination is about a 5 year window.....that seems to be playing out with UGA just like us.....they probably wont fall as bad as we did because they will never go with a DJU type QB....but i expect at least a few losses a year from here on out.

One big difference between Ga and Clemson in regards to this. Since 2020 (NIL) our recruiting has suffered dearly and GA is number 1 each and every year. They ain’t going anywhere, unfortunately.
