David Hood, what is your take on

Clemson being so quiet compared to FSU. Until now, I have been thinking that the two were in the same boat. But now it seems perhaps FSU has options that we don't have:
1. Do they have more money to buy out and lawyer up?
2. Do they have a landing spot and we do not?
3. Do they have an administration with more guts?
What is your take? Do you still think Clemson and FSU are a package deal?

Sometimes you have to step up and make a statement. Clemson has always failed on being proactive.

Sometimes you have to step up and make a statement. Clemson has always failed on being proactive.
It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear dumb, than open it and remove all doubt!

I agree. FSU did not take the actions they did today without a dance partner (probably more than 1). Members of boards running a university tend to be highly successful and intelligent business persons. They understand high priced, extremely complex negotiations. They don't go off half-cocked or ill prepared.
