With you being around and talking to people within the FB program, have you heard any talk about how redshirt freshman TE Christian Bentancur has been progressing, and do you think that he will see some time in the lineup this coming season as a go to TE. I mean I know barring injury that Olsen Patt-Henry will most likely become the #1 TE starting off next season, but do you see or have heard anything about Bentancur having a chance of becoming a part of our offense at some point next season. When players put that redshirt on, we usually don't hear much about them unless somebody has notice them for doing good things as an up and comer. I'm not asking for a friend, I'm asking for myself...

I know that's right, but as you know, there will always be those that are happy if they think someone else is not!!!
Honestly though, if David hadn't answered when I came back to this post, it would have been bc David hadn't seen my question yet bc he has always answered any serious question that I had for him.
There are those that actually sound as if they don't care much for David, but I Personally Believe that T-Net is lucky to have him. And I don't care who it is, there is nobody on the face of this earth that is like by everybody, and it want matter how good they are with doing what they do best!!!
There has been time that I don't care for some people that I actually like all the time!!!

They love his potential. Obviously during a redshirt year there aren't a lot of significant snaps or even chances to impress the coaches in practice. The snaps... during the week or on Sat... Are just not there. But he works hard, has been good in the weight room, takes notes, watches film, etc. All the stuff you'd hope for.

I'm sure those answers will be better during the Spring when they get a better look. He'll def see the field I would think....OPH has earned his #1 spot.

Yep, I feel that way also but, I read all that I could find about Christian Bentancur right after he committed. From what little I was able to find written about him, and it was mostly all good, and he is the type of player that our fan base wants to see at Clemson.
If he turns out to be the TE that's been talked about him, I suspect that he could be the best TE that's ever worn the Paw, and that's the kind of news that I hope to hear coming from our coaches at the end of 2025 of before. If the kid is really as talented as the talk has said that he is, we will see some really exciting plays coming from our TE spot... Go Tigers, Go Bentancur!!!
