Curious on your thoughts of how this affects Clemson and what realistic expectations of time frame of leaving the ACC and likelihood of landing in one of the Power 2 conferences is. Always appreciate your insights and thoughts.

This is a state level and university level business and political topic. this isn't something that is popping up in practice or in player interviews

I don't think Clemson will be affected at all by what FSU does or doesn't do. We will hang on and wait for a clearer picture to develope. What's the rush? FSU is foolish- they think too highly of themselves. Clemson will wait and make suitors come to them( if it even happens). If not, we are still OK-we are financially sound. We will call our OWN shots in due time.

Correct. They are paying lawyers millions for them to tell them what they want to hear. How it turns out isd anyone's guess. I am not sure there are any laws that prevent institutions and businesses from signing on to bad business decisions ....... which is what FSU is saying.

Clearly you haven’t read the allegations at hand. If some of these are true the acc is in trouble. For instance if Jim Phillips signed a contract amendment without a vote and it’s against the bylaws to do so, that is a problem for the acc.

The ACC filed a suit of their own last night in Mecklenburg County...

Seems they are going for a quick judgement that the GOR is indeed "enforceable". If the ACC gets that "enforceable" judgment it will put another big bolder in FSU's "get out free" path.
My gut tells me FSU is going to have a hard time worming their way out of this GOR without paying the full penalty. I think their past public comments may come back to bite them in the buttocks. Regardless of the arguments their lawyers come up with in court, FSU has made a lot of public comments that boil down to: "We are getting paid what we agreed to in the GOR but it ain't enough to keep up with the other conferences". I'm pretty sure that is not a real compelling argument to get out of a contract without penalty...
IMO, the ACC ain't gonna cut a deal with FSU either. This is literally a win or die moment for the ACC. If FSU gets out of the conference without paying the full penalties - others will follow suit and the ACC will collapse...
