Given FSU's status as one of the prime examples of power through the use of the portal, how far will they fall in the polls? My guess is that it won't be that far.
A drop out of the top 15 would show that everyone was wrong about the portal, FSU and DJU, and that just cannot be. They pundits will figure out some way to explain it away. Maybe even GT will move up quite a bit.

FSU gets treated with kid gloves. Clemson would be blasted by all the media and dropped into oblivion.

Losing despite using the portal doesn't get any reaction from the media at all but losing without losing the portal? Well that just confirms the games passed you by and you don't want to win football games any more.

I agree, something tells me these media guys have a monetary interest in the fsu NIL and the players that they bought, and they just cant be tarnished, they have an NFL future to try to build
