Some Virginia fans maybe right now wishing that Bronco Mendenhall was still the head coach.Virginia Football has not been good since the George Welsh years back in the 80's and 90's.This reminds me of Virginia back when #### Bestwick was the head coach and the Cavaliers were nicknamed "White Meat" by Clemson

Hard to say if we're being honest.
This is his second year and the dude had an AWFUL situation to deal with at the end of last season.
Not to mention, not like UVA had elite talent. They had some good seasons with Bronco but not much left in the cupboard when TE came to town. I think I also remember reading on some message board that there was some splits in the team with how TE wanted to do things and players wanting to stick with what Bronco had implemented.
Anyhow, I guess it'll come down to if the team looks more competitive by the end of the year. He's definitely taking his lumps.

It's Va. They are not a football school. They are not chasing a title of any kind. They are not used to winning. Mendenhall had a few good yrs. Elliott will be given 5 yrs. He is not going anywhere. If he can put together a 6-6 team, Everyone will be happy.

Possibly not, but they seem to have found a QB and the offense is coming around. I think Tony needs another year + and then let’s look at the facts.
