Right out the gate answering the first question, grinning like he knows we’re great.
Through the last couple years, Dabo’s body language during post-practice interviews and such could tell you about how the team was progressing.
I’m probably wrong, but it’s not hard to see more confidence in our team through Dabo.

I mentioned this a couple wks ago. Dabo looked like he was tired and started getting a little Saban-like in interviews. Since hiring GR, I really noticed the old Dabo coming back to us. Really noticed his chippy self at the Spring game. Glad to have old Dabo back.

I’m glad other people notice this too. Didn’t think many people did.
But I agree. In weeks leading up to last season, he didn’t seem “sure” about what was going to happen. I guess with DJ and everything. But this year, just seems like he knows.

It's weird that you say that because I always tune into his body language and the "way" he says things and I was a little disappointed about his comments. He didn't seem to downplay how good they are like I had hoped. Seemed a little blah. I always loved those years when Brent was smiling like the cat that swallowed the canary all while talking about how much work they needed to do.

I miss that too. That’s what this program deserves. That’s who Dabo is. The stress of being in his position with DJ and everything is severe. It was taking a toll. But now he seems free of worry and ready to work.

The whole DJ situation could and should have been handled by mid season. He was not a good QB and we had a guy on the bench that could have done as good and needed the experience.

I always wonder what was promised to the Uiagalelei family to get him here. Dabo is an honest man and would do a lot to uphold a promise.

The promise was loyalty to DJ as the starter. And Dabo fulfilled his promise. That is why he didn’t move on from DJ until UNC.
Keeping to your word in Dabo’s spot is exactly as tough as it appeared to be. And even more in Dabo’s mind.
But by doing so, he proved the loyalty he can give to QBs. Which helps in the long run with recruiting. So, regardless of DJ’s miscues, it played out well.

Dabo does seem refreshed... amazing how some fresh/new blood can rejuvenate others.
I am excited to see what can happen. TCU had to outscore everyone, defense was not good.
I am sure Riley is excited to have a team with a defense and he can really get inventive!!

Yup, looks like he has lost weight and back to his old self. Must have been binge eating to cope with the DJ situation.

He said today that Cade brings that energy and its contagious. I think he caught it from Cade
I alluded to this earlier in the " why bring Cade instead of Ship " thread
