He really needs to go back and watch that play. It was a total disconnect between Ngata and DJU. The defender was between #10 and #5. There's no way a back shoulder throw is anything but an INT. But what Dabo is missing is that DJ throws the ball 5 yds behind Ngata! Look at the replay. Ngata ran the "go" because of the defender's position, but for whatever reason, DJU threw the "stop." It was truly a 14-pt turnover. Should have been Touchdown Tigers, but instead, Touchdown ND.
Painful to watch.

So, he throws Ngata under the bus? Hell, I have NO CLUE as to what play was called, etc., etc., but it’s getting old hearing excuses - or a constant defense of DJ. I want to support Dabo and his decisions, but it’s getting harder.

That’s been the theme all year, blame some players or the D. DJ’s too fragile to call him out (that confidence thing). “It’s only one bad play or one bad game” - it’s been many. He needs to introduce his foot to those Coordinators and coaches but that aren’t coaching or coordinating that he put into place.
Beat Louisville, one game at a time. Go Tigers !!!

+1 on this. Go back and watch the play. #10 had his man beat to the endzone. So what if it's a back shoulder play...adjust and get the TD! Good grief.

Dabo said it was a back shoulder fade. It was a fade and the corner played it perfectly. How can anyone question the play call? We're any of you, us, on the headset. I really don't know about some of you fans!

Why back shoulder when his WR had the DB beat? DJ doesn't adjust, he just throws it where it's planned. Ready or not, put in #2.
