is still an issue that hasn’t been addressed.
A good punter is a weapon in big games. We are still awful at punting.

The cfp semi with Kelly Bryant may have been a lot different had we have had a boomer for a punter. Just saying. I agree, they can be a valuable tool.

There is a constant belief that teams can just pick from the Portal like apples from a tree. Unless we lose players to the Portal, not only can we not pick up anyone but if the scholarship numbers on TigerNet are correct, we have to deal with being 3 over the 85 limit.

You do know scholarships don’t limit you any more right? You can pay a guy $500k to come punt without giving him a scholarship. I think they call it NIL or something.

Yes it is crazy that we didn’t fix the glaring problem at punter that hurt us all last year. For Dabo to say we don’t need anything is just stupid on his part . How can he stick his head in the sand and refuse to fix the problem?? There is excuse for this

That is foolish talk man , if you have half a brain you go upgrade at punter and don’t roll the dice and let the lack of a punter hurt you . Dabo and his refusal and /or inability to fix the special teams is inexcusable . He has had suspect special teams for most of his tenure .
